Had my interview yesterday and believe I passed. The consul lady said: ' everything seems to be fine. If we still have a question or need something else from you, we will give you a call. If not, we will send out your visa in 3-4 days! So let's hope they are happy with what I gave them and they will send out my visa!

Congratulations to all others with recent interview and approvals! and hang in there all others still waiting or left in the dark about what is going on. Thinking of you everyday!

CONGRATS!

for anyone who is interested in how my visit at the frankfurt consulate was and how the interview went, can check out the review I wrote. It is attached to my timeline.

Fran :)

All I can say is that after going through this horrendous process the least they can do is tell you at the interview if you passed or not!! How rude! But I really believe if there was a problem, they would have said something then. Good luck, and let us know when you get that VISA.

Financial support documents all arrived ready for the interview, but I can't schedule the interview until the police check comes through. Been about 21 days now since I sent off for it, and still nothing back. Starting to get very annoyed by the delay.

aww hun *hugs* I wish I could make this easier on you!

me too..espeically for you! what is up with Montreal..this is ridiculous...you shoulda had a date by now for your interview..man..i'd start hitting ppl lol when your that close to sucess!!

*shrug* they finally (after 2 weeks) sent me an email back stating my interview will probably not be in September...like I hadn't figured that out already. I'm trying my best to be optimistic but I'm failing pretty bad at it. Doesn't look like they scheduled any K1 interviews for Sept at all. Ah well, one day right?

Congrats though to everyone who has had their interview and gotten their visa! I'm sooooo happy for you guys!

What a bummer! You'd think they have somewhat of a schedule and at least give you a specific date. Even if it is October or November, it is easier to wait for a date than for an answer no one knows when it will arrive. I thought that's what USCIS specialized in. Hope, you will soon get an answer and can find ways to be optimistic. *hugs*

so i found out what happend to my k1 after it was put in ap after my approval..according to Dos..Nvc lost it.

dos is confused..uscis is confused, and nvc is confused.

my noa2 was not revoked by nvc, or sent back to uscis. why i got that letter after telling me it was in AP i don't know, or the one saying it went to the consuulate is unclear,or the email from nvc saying it went back to csc.

the only trace anyone has of it is when it was sent out august 7th to Nvc. and that nvc got it a week later. now it has vanished into thin air.

DOS resolution specialist and visa specialist have contacted nvc and uscis, there is a service request..my congressman is calling every day as well as my fiance, and the lawyer.

i am sooo peeved right now. it's been a months since my Noa2.....

Hang in there. I have been following your visa journey and it is very upsetting that they can lose such important documents This is scary, and all this time they made you wait. I hope that they find a solution for this and a good one. Don't give up and stay strong there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

How on earth can they loose a petition. They better clean up their office and find it. When they find it, maybe you can ask for an expedite, since they screwed up. You'd deserve it!

on the bright side, they didn't deny it! Maybe they will find it, or just take copies of the documents as its already been approved. I hope they have good news for you soon!

Did you call your consulate in case they already sent it on without updating their system? Surely the person who was working on it had to login somewhere so the file can be tracked. I mean, give me a break! Also like the idea of submitting copies of the original packet so it can be forwarded SOON to the embassy. Good luck!

unfortunately we can't call our consulate, and they are very short (kinda rude) with their answers :( Would be nice if you just got P3 in the mail though :D

According to DOS the consulate does not have it. the last log of my petition anywhere was when NVC received it on the 15th. We have 4 ppl working on this. I've a good mind to whip off an email to Hilary Clinton bitching at her..but alas i'm CDN, so i doubt it would do much...although NVC is under her domain. David keeps telling me not to rock the boat..but i so want to just flip it over! lol

So sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will be something simple that can be resolved right away. It seems like the petitions get processed pretty fast after RFE, so hopefully in a couple of weeks you will be at NVC. Good luck!

My guy goes home on Saturday, so I'm feeling pretty miserable today. Trying not to think about it, and just enjoy the time we have left together, but unfortunately he put his back out the other day and he's in agony at the moment. I'm not even sure how he's going to manage the long journey home.

Visa-wise, we're still waiting for our police certificate. I'm starting to get really, really annoyed about the delay now. I wouldn't mind having to wait until January to see him again, if I knew that this really was the last time we'll be apart.
