Did she lie or did the line cross?

Yes they do get crossed, several times i have tried to call the states from here and dialed all the correct numbers area codes etc. and got my neighbor here.this has happened several times with international calls both originating in the states as well as here in the Philippines. I wouldn't be overly concerned.

I called my girl friend on her cell phone a strange woman picked up the phone she says hello a bunch of time she could not hear me. we said hello for three minutes, then hung up then i called again within five minutes this time a guy picks up. i was extremely worried now thinking she may have been kidnapped (i had just seen the movie Taken which should the story of sex trafficking). We said hello a bunch of times for another 3 minutes. I wait ten minutes called again this time the call drops with 18 second then i call right back within that minute my girl pick up the phone. She was at the airport and it sounded like all the people was at the airport also. Now i don't think my girl would lie to me, but i am feeling strange she said no one had her phone the whole time. I am wondering if it is possible the line crossed. I am using skype to call her, i am in New york she is in the philippines manila.

I was having the same problems too when I was calling my wife. I use Yahoo to call her in her local mobile company. She's from Cebu and when she had her medical in Manila last Jan 5, I can't get ahold of her since she didn't have a good signal inside the SLEC facility and her phone is dying. It was already almost midnight and I was wondering what happened to her. Everytime I call, I hear different people picking up her phone (when in fact that her phone is unavailable because it was battery empty). I was beginning to doubt and worry too much (sometimes when you're worried, you think of crazy scenarios). I really thought she had been kidnapped or something bad had happened. I'm glad she was fine when she got back at her hotel at 1 AM on her first day of the medical.

It was strange but now I know that I am not the only person who's experiencing this kind of problems.
