Question (tried to call NVC, but they are closed due to snow): In my excitement/rush to keep things moving, I paid my I-864 invoice on the NVC website Saturday. Yet, today I received an email from the embassy in Turkey giving me instructions (I'm guessing this was the 'packet 3' as they said no paper version would be sent) on downloading the forms and what other documents they need. In this, they said I need to submit the I-134 support document. In my confusion, I went back to the NVC site and see that it says to contact NVC if we are planning to adjust status after the beneficiary comes here. That is the plan. So, will me paying the support invoice mess things up? Or can they cancel it (payment is still showing as processing)?
