Hello all!

I got an letter from US embassy that they have received my K3 papers and I should contact the doctor to have the medical etc. before K3 interview. Since me and my hubby filed an I-130 too (it's currently in processing in NVC), we are thinking to proceed with that and not with the K3. My question is, can I go ahead and take the medical now. Would it be valid for my I-130 interview later, if we are skipping the K3? Has anyone experienced with this?

the medical required is the same for both types of visa and i believe the results are good for 6 months so it wont hurt to get it now as long as you are sure the I-130 will only be a month or 2 to finish.
