finally after 11 months exactly, i received a letter today ,that vermont sevice center approve my case...long wait but it's ok.. :thumbs:

i will be filing for citezenship next month...

visa journey is the best site i saw to discuss immigration issue..i want to thank you guys..i was reading your post every day for the last 3 months..i knew my approval wil be soon...

my timeline: i751 received by vermont 3/27/08....approved 2/27/09 :dance:

7/2/2010 - Called mis-information line to put in a service request for STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED "FP NOTICE"

7/8/2010 - LUD, at 2:32am, received text msg and e-mail for req. for add'l evidence being mailed out on July 6th, believe it's for the FP

7/12/2010 - Received FP notice in mail, scheduled for 8/2/2010

7/15/2010 - Walk in FP

7/22/2010 - Online status changed to "Case sent to local office for interview schedule"

7/27/2010 - Received interview letter for 8/23/2010

8/23/2010 - Passed interview, was informed that next oath date is 9/22/2010 and oath letter will come in the mail

no i didn't got touch since last april..my satus online still shows pending too..no change ...

i got an approval letter...green card on the way... :dance:

Citizenship applications vary according to where they are processsed. The best thing to do is to go to the USCIS website and look up processing times for your service center for N400s to see how long they are taking.,

Can someone comment on what kind of questions to expect at the interview.

My wife and I got married in Oct'08 and she was here on a L-1A visa that was valid till 2011 when I married her. After her marriage 2 months later she gave up her job. At that point I applied for her Green Card and she applied for AOS in December. We got notice to get biometrics done and now we also got a interview notice.

Question is, what should we expect at the interview? What kind of questions? What should we be aware of and watch out?

At the insistence and pressures from family and friends we are having a church ceremony/reception in April ('coz we got married at City Hall in Oct and friends and family were not able to participate and enjoy). Is it okay to be honest about the upcoming ceremony/party/reception OR are the interviewers going to misread it as something else?

To all who contributed here and shared.... thatnks for doing so. I find this site VER USEFUL.

i don't see N-400 processing tomes when i look at Texas Processing Times .. where is citizenship applications?

n400 does not exist in the processing time in vermont or calofornia service center..u can only find it when u check ur local office .
