Narina, they are super cute. I was thinking of doing something similar in my bay window. Right now it just has some lonely plants! I keep waiting to decorate or even buy any more furniture because it is so stressful to do it without help! Doesn't the us gov. know I need my husband for help at Ikea and Pottery Barn?

I dont know why they dont get that lol

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

For real, I bought a couch at Ikea by myself! The whole time I was thinking, "Toli Lucaj, you own me one! Next year when I remember I forgot to buy yams the day before Thanksgiving, I'm sending you ALONE to the grocery store."

Your husband is a fancy cook!! My husband can make yogurt, pasta, and an entire grilled goat. Nothing with beyond two steps.

I would never trust him with raw fish.

Jenn, you crack me up! Hey, whenever I ask Lisa's advice about adding proofs or stuff for the interview process, I always add, "It can't hurt right?" And she always answers, "Like you said, it can't hurt"

So yeah, add the ceviche to your hardship list...it can't hurt right?

Yeah, we're the only party girlz I guess...Of course, everyone else got their freakin approvals in like 30 days  Why would they need a pity party?

Steve, you are so cool! Makes sense now...most Cali people are so cool by nature!

Lisa, just move to Texas...it's dirt cheap here, dry as hell, and only 1 month of cold weather. No snow, no freezes. You can garden year round! Your biggest chore will be making sure what you plant is either drought resistant, or watered every single day.

I haven't seen Sarita today...but I've been out of it. Did she post on FB today? I thought she did...but I've been out of work so many days that I am mixing up which day is which LOL

Mary, I hear you! I actually lugged up a couch by myself, up the stairs. I have no idea how I did it. It took me like an hour...because I had to use every ounce of energy to get it up one step...I was pushing up backwards...and once I got it on the next step, I had to take a rest... I had absolutely no one to help me.

As I always say to my mom when I'm complaining: BEING ALONE IS FOR WHEN YOU'RE IN YOUR GRAVE... NOT WHEN YOU ARE ALIVE!

and "Life without a man is not a life..."

btw ... I got 2 letters from the NVC today. Paperwork for the I-130's filed for Ksenia & Sasha (AOS fee, DS-3032). Weird that I never got any email approval or CSC confirmation letter.

It's nice to get them but I'm with Narina ... I'm pursuing the K3 ... for faster time home and less upfront expense ...

The areas by the water are...Houston they say is very humid.

Not South Texas, where I live. Dry as a bone! Although some days people will say "Oh God, it's so humid" and it's like totally dry! Being from New Jersey, I guess my take on humid is different! To me, humid is like 70%, not 20% LOL But I have become Texan in the sense that anything less than 60 degrees is now "very cold" for me LOL

Hello beautiful ladies and our own gentleman who is always so thoughtful (((((((((((((((K3 ladies+Steve))))))))))) And special thanks to Lisa for the shoutout (F) . I tried to go to bed but too many thoughts in my head these days keeping me from finding peaceful sleep

AWWWWWWWWWWW u guys are great companions! I just freaked my whole family crying on the phone to them and I asked my mom and brother to come over tomorrow to keep me company. I feel so lonely and all alone as I live 1 hr and a half from them :( I guess good for when my hubby is here and we are in the honeymoon phase all over again (but no so great right now when I need all the support and hugs I can get since VSCH is keeping my baby away from me- Day 223 and counting!! grrrrrrrrrrrr) I forgot this is supposed to be a party, so I'll just sit in the corner with my :pop: and keep Narina and Jen company. I always wondered at what point I would use the drinking smiley  It's nice to be among "VJ" friends in these trying times :luv: .
