Manila Embassy Interview

ok i called d embassy d other day (thanks for d # UliNG! ) anyway i called at like um, 7:40 am manila time, I got this really nice lady, it seemed like she had petition on her desk?!!!! LOL! Anyway they got hard copy 10/12/06, electronic copy on 10/4/2006.She says interview dates as of now should be approx in Jan 2007, it takes now about 150 days from date of receipt. She was really nice! I should have got her name, maybe it was my sexy american accent ! As of today my honee has not gotten any letter of reciept from embassy. oh well THank good ness they have it! Hey I need help posting my timeline on my signature! Any volunteers? (kinda slow with this stuff! )

I just want you to know that it was comforting to read what you wrote here because my petition was also received that same day they got yours. I did call the embassy but I failed to ask when was the next available date (approx) for interviews. Thank god you posted this info!

We got our interview date for December 11th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and St. Lukes St. Luke's December 04.

Both Dhonn and I checked the IV schedule everyday and finally we got it! I hope that the rest of you get your interviews sooon.

Thanks for this info ellmoi and uling... we did call (John called this morning)....and followed up our request for expedition and early appointment interview...we were told to get our packet at St. Lukes...fortunately, I am in Manila (I arrived Manila thursday evening) and I got the packet with our appointment schedule:

I will fly back to Iloilo Sunday and will be consolidating all the needed documents for me and 2 kids. Hopefully, will be able to have the medical examinations, seminars and interview next week, God willing.

While I'm very happy about the interview date in December. I am also a little concerned about the medical being only one week before. That seems to be cutting it a little close, not allowing for contingencies such as her being sick on that day, or whatever. I have read that it is possible to attend the medical earlier than "scheduled" by the embassy. Can anyone advise me on how to make that happen?
