Can K1 be denied?

Timeline

Read through the K1-Guide and go down the checklist using the example forms to help you fill out all you need.

The requirements are that you must have physically met within the past two years. You must both be legally free to marry and you must meet the financial requirements so that there is no risk of the beneficiary (alien fiance) becoming a public charge once here in the US. In most Countries you can use a co-sponsor to help you meet this requirements. This isn't something you need to collect until after you are approved.

You are lucky to have found VJ before you even file. Do yourself a huge favor and read through all the links at the top before you do anything. Familiarizing yourself with the process and preparing as best you can will save you a lot of heartache in the future. ;)
