The proper term is LIMBO LAND... For awhile I was lovingly known as the LIMBO BIMBO. I think Jenn took over the title now... I'm not sure though. Be careful, don't call her bimbo unless she's cool with it :jest:

PS- Don't compare the K1's to K3...compare K1's to CR-1's instead. I'm thinking most people don't do K3 anymore, that might be why there are not so many updates...???

I just got back from partying for Steve in the other forum! I hope we get just as lucky as he did (but then again he is with CSC...still happy for him :) )

Jen hang in there, at least u know ur case is abjudicated to an officer. What I wouldn't give right now to hear those words. I just emailed my senator's office and I will be faxing him the authorization forms tomorrow. It's nice to know there is a little something I can make happen while we await our fate. Nite everyone. Will check back with you tomorrow (F)

You have to keep bugging them. They probably won't call you back right away. They don't feel the urgency. They usually e-mail the VSC. You never know if they received a reply. Maybe they didn't check their inbox. Be a thorn in their side. Make your name known. They have to reply to you. Its their job.

I can't believe Steve is approved.... Good for him.... I wanna be next but I have a feeling the adjudicator is going to take a long time to process my petitions knowing our situation. (SIGH) Tucho and I have the worst luck of anyone I know.

On the top of this VJ site there is a link for "IMMIGRATION TIMELINES" click on there and it will bring up stats but remember it is only based on the info on VJ. there are thousands upon thousands of other petitions at the VSC. You can kind of base your estimated approval time on the stats but it isn't written in stone.

Waiting is what we do best thse dayz !!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
