Question about Canadian Taxes for 2008

Hi.

I have lived and worked in New Brunswick, Canada throughout 2008. Came here to the US in January of this year.

I just tried to NETFILE 2008 taxes and I could not do it.

I checked all the restrictions on www.cra-arc.gc.ca and one of them is "address outside of Canada' and that applies to me since I changed my address to the US address in my Canadian Revenue Tax online account. So I guess now I need to paper-file the tax. How do I get those paper forms and any special advices when doing it that way when you are in the US?

One other thing you could do - change your address back to a Canadian address.

I had the same issue when trying to netfile last year, just print your return and mail it....I know, kind of defeats the purpose! You do need to let the Cdn Government know you've moved though eventually for taxes purposes. The poster above who suggests changing it back to a Cdn address is probably the easiest solution for now.
