You can't check the status of an I-751 or N-400 online and don't even think the 800# nuckleheads can check.

Did you check the processing status date for N-400s of the office where you applied?

If you want to know what's going on you will probably need to make an INFOPASS appointment.

To clarify, your application is sent to your Service Center, but the timlines to watch are those for your District Office.

Individual N-400s may not be tracked online or by 1-800 people.

After sending in our app (and another person right after us reported the same) we got a receipt NOA. One week later, a fingerprint appointment letter was generated & sent.

I didn't see your timeline to see when you filed or if any of these other events have happened yet.

The application was filed at CSC and will go to Santa Ana local office for interview. According the last update they are 'processing' receipt notice date of Jan 25. This application has a receipt date of six weeks after that.

The status before last night was 'Your N400 APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was received on .....'.

Wondering what this new update means? Does it mean the case been sent to the local office to schedule an interview?

  • 2 weeks later...

Nothing new - as the other two posters said...

USCIS system shows status of N400 cases while they are being processed at the Service Center, it drops dead once the file gets transfered to the local office.

Anyways, very good news, check your mail daily ;)
