CEMAR/Marriage Index

Hello. I just wanna ask if the CEMAR that is to be submitted for the interview are both from the Intending Immigrant(applicant) and Petitioner or just the applicant?

I have read somewhere only the applicant but I cant find the forum. Hope you can enlighten me.

the CENMAR is just from the immigrant, The petitioner will have to have documentation of divorce or death cert. if prior marriage is involved if they are asked for.

I believe that your both actually talking about the CENOMAR and is for the beneficary on a K1 visa. The CENMAR is for people who are married which is the beneficary and petitioner.

I read somewhere in the NVC website that only the applicant (beneficiary) needs the CENOMAR during the interview. My husband inquired at NSO regarding this. He was told that if he gets one now, after being married, the name of the spouse ( my name) will appear on the certificate. This is the difference from the certificate he took before we got married and the certificate that he will get now.

Yep it will show all marriages. The document doesn't have a title at the top. People just call it CENMAR or CEMAR.

It is for the Immigrant only. The NSO here wouldn't have records on a foreigner. The USC Would not appear on the data base unless he had a previous marriage in the Philippines.
