Hi...its me again. My question might be discussed already in here but can't find it. If you can just see my laptop....i have 4 visajourney website open lol...My question is for those who have their K1 process done in Vancouver. Our papers was forwarded already from NVC to the embassy last Feb. 13, 2009. How long will it take for me to recieve the packet 3? And also, how true that previous marriage certificate will be required aside from divorce decree?...A friend of mine who have K3 application in vancouver recieved her apointment letter and it's one of the requirements being asked. Thanks again.

I have to say that I was never actually asked for the previous marriage certificates. I had them with me, but was never actually asked for them.

Not to say that you wouldn't get asked, so I'd say it's probably just smarter to have them rather than be sorry you didn't.

Good luck at your interview.

NVC received our petition on January 20th, it was received at the US Embassy in Vancouver on January 30th and I got packaged 3 in the mail on February 4th.

Once you fax back the forms they ask for in Package 3 to the Embassy, a week later you will receive your Package 4, which is just a letter with your interview date.

From reading other people's posts about the HPV shot, the first one needs to be done before your medical appointment, the other two can follow down in the US and have to be done before you do AOS.

All other vaccinations you either need proof that you had them done growing up or need to have a record that you either have antibodies against them or have the shots redone before the medical.

You can go to your family doctor and get a blood test done to see if you still have the antibodies for MMR and Chickenpox. If you haven't had a tetinous shot done in the past 10 years, you will need one of those too. The requirements for the shots will be in the package that the Doctor's office sends you when you get ahold of them to make an appointment.

Good luck with the rest of your journey. :)
