Portland, I swear I had the longest walk from the hotel room to the garden gazebo. On top of everyone in the hotel wanting to take pictures and talk, I was nervous out of my mind! I stopped at one of the bars along the way and got a shot of vodka! :lol: I needed to settle down! The same thing happened to me when I was auditioning for the high school marching band. I was so nervous before my auditions that my mother gave me a couple of swigs of a wine cooler to settle my nerves! After that, it was smooth sailing! :thumbs: Belly still laughs at me though...he says I was shaking...he was laughing then come to think of it.... :blush:

:bonk::rofl: lol that's too funny!

BTW-- I brought my camera last night and of course left it in the car...

OK... Good night everyone! Now I can get back to normal. I have called/text everyone I know about hubby's interview. It's been a long day.

Congrats Marie on your nuptials!!!! I still love saying.."My husband this or that". And I especially love hearing him say "My wife..." :wub:

06/15/07 Arrive to Jamaica for our wedding

06/20/07 Wedding in Jamaica

07/06/07 Back to US... left my hubby... sad, sad day

07/28/07 Sent I-130

09/07/07 Noa 1

12/17/07 Left for Jamaica for the holidays

01/04/08 Back to USA... man I miss my hubby!! I really enjoyed spending the holidays w/ him...

02/07/08 I-130 approved... another step closer...

03/03/08 Received DS-3032 & I-864 Bill

03/13/08 Sent I-864 fee

03/27/08 Emailed the DS 3032 (hubby never received in mail)

04/02/08 Received notice from NVC that DS 3032 approved... I should be getting something soon, I HOPE

04/14/08 Received I-864 Affidavit of Support... can't wait til this is OVER!!

10/14/08 Case complete!! Waiting for the interview date.... HURRY PLEASE!!!

01/06/09 Interview date: February 17 @ 7:30AM!!!!!!!

02/03/09 Hubby's dr's appt. (All went well)

02/17/09 Interview day... APPROVED! He should receive his Visa the first week in March.

02/24/09 My bday!! AND hubby was called to pick up his visa!!!! GREAT BDAY GIFT!!

03/27/09 My hubby surprised me at my job!!! Can not believe he's finally here!

Morning all!

Ok details details lol

Well yesterday morning he was making breakfast when I came out the shower. I was heading to the kitchen to help him and he said...wait right there. Me, being nosy and VERY stubborn, told him no and that I was coming in..but something kept holding me back. So i threw a fit yelling and cursing asking wat he was hiding and screaming we're about to get married and ray ray ray.

So he came in the living room, put his hands on my shoulders and said exactly we soon married so its time u stop the foolishness and stop worry yuh head! So i stormed in the room and started fixing my hair and getting ready to leave. So he came in the room and said yuh nah eat someting b4 we leave? mi fix breakfast fi yuh....when I went into the dining room there was a plate of eggs and calalloo, bread and some chocolate tea. He had shaped the bread to spell I LOVE YOU. I started balling like there was no tomorrow!!!

So my cousin came with the car and we headed to the Registrar's Office. It was busy in there as thats the place where people can get birth certificates, passports, etc. We were called to the back room and in there was a beautifully lit arch and spring backdrop. We sat at a table with our two witnesses at each of our sides. The minister had all the paperwork filled out ahead of time. We introduced ourselves and our occupations.

We started with prayer and then we stood under the arch as we said our vows. As Lance said "to love and to cherish" he held my hands tighter and I could see the eye water starting. I lost it and started crying once again!!! The minister said "dont cry until couple years from now when you're in the delivery room" :lol: we were both nervous and excited and the minister really helped keep us smiling.

After the ceremony and the signing of the marriage certificate, the minister told us that although we are married we must remember to keep our friendship alive and strong. :star:

Marie, that is so beautiful, you have me in tears here!

RASS! :lol: Belly try fi monitor my liquor intake when mi wid ei. But he does have a couple pairs of my shorts, and shirts...me just hope he nah wan fi put it on and dress like mad ooman! :help:

Hey everyone! I see we've reached part 13!!!

I'm back from JA and a married woman!!!! :D All now mi caan tap grin lol

The bad thing about it my camera batteries were completely dead and I never knew until the ceremony started. My cousin goes "whatcha! di camera naw wuk!" i wanted to CRY!!! But a so it go. So I won't have any wedding photos....will this hurt my petition?! Someone please :help:

He should be recieving his visa the first week in March and should be here before the end of March!

I am soooooo excited!
