Okay one more thing Ellis, sorry I'm just thinking of stuff.....

My SO got a call from the embassy right after I emailed them for a second interview date. He said they called to see if I was sure I could come to interview. That freaked me out because I never heard of them calling people and I didn't get a response. They just confirmed with him over the phone. Then like a week later someone else confirmed my original email with the same date they told my SO.

Honesty is the best policy but never use honesty as an excuse to be hurtful.

Put 2nd or 3rd Urgent request in all caps. Something to catch their attention along with the KNG # in the subject line. I think they give you that # once the consulate receives your info. Remember there are a lot of ppl emailing them so try to make your email subject line standout without being too pesty. I remember getting a response from some hater B and I think she purposely took forever answering my question and she didn't even really answer my question. The embassy is not predicatable at times. I remember getting some responses on the same day, 5 days later and even on a sunday before! Yea I emailed them a lot but they were pretty quick about answering my emails.

That's pretty much what happened to me too. They only answered part of what I wrote about and ignored the rest. If they'd just pay attention the 1st time, they wouldn't have to be nagged endlessly after that!

I feel you Honey. I'm in the same boat. I don't know if I am so sad because I'm already tired of waiting for USCIS or because I haven't seen A since August. I am used to seeing him every 3 to 4 months since we started dating. I feel like just giving up. I thought that I was going to recover faster than this and that I would be able to get a trip in before going back to work. Well that didn't work out. Now, I don't know when I will be able to go and see him.

I feel like I'm not going to see him until he arrives here. I had to postpone our beach wedding because I can't do the drive/flight to Florida...so I am settling on the courthouse. I'm just ready to drink myself into a stupor and take my pain pill too. I'm not even a drinker.

Our anniversary is July 1st, and I was praying that we would be married on that date. I hate USCIS...I really hate them.

Hey culture; I know you're fustrated, but don't bother with sending him to the embassy. Let it rest for a few weeks, then start again. Are you calling the 202 #...and don't bother calling the embassy, you're just going to run your blood presssure up more.

One more thing culture...talking about fustration. My cousin had her interview in January and she still doesn't have her visa, because they can't find her passport. So, she applies for a new passport gets that the end of last month and once again, it was misplaced. She says she's not calling or e-mailing them anymore, because all they're doing is giving her the runaround.
