APPROVAL!!!! And actually my first post.

took about 7 months 2 weeks and 2 days, but it got approved.

Hopefully the hard part is over!!

Congrats!

They're back on July, you guys....dare I get excited for you guys?

no..VSC needs to just put yours at the bottom of the pile. Clearly you're happier without the approvals

:P

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

all the June files went in the freakin' trash. They passed right over mine and I'm glad. I don't want an approval anyway.

As of today, were at day 248 for I-130 & day 188 for I-129F ... If we go into AP due it will be hell

OMG! Just saw a CSC app from Nov. approved. Happy for them, but ####### for us VSC suckers???? :o

YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!! I AM TOTALLY WITH YOU ON THAT ONE! I was so upset (not for them of course) but I actually couldn't sleep and cried my eyes out! They got approved in 89 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whereas we at VSC can't even dream of getting a hit before day 200!!! And those who get approved at day 200 are lucky... SO NOT FAIR!!!! WHO MADE THESE RULES? And whatever happened to first come first served?? Isn't that the whole point of receipt numbers???? :protest::ranting::protest:

Day 216 and yeah ####### VSC????????????? I am starting to lose it (I guess a normal thing after passing day 200, as it gets harder and harder from here on out  )

So much for catching zzzzzzz! It's 1:00 a.m! That was 2 hrs ago I said goodnight. How can one sleep with all this stress? So thankful VJ was created or else I am sure I would have completely lost my mind (right now thanks to you guys I only halfway lost it  )

The immigration timelines on VJ are in August. I know that is onlly data from what people post, but still.................................................................

Because you are applying for k3(129f) When you look at the processing times, you would look at the 129f dates. There was a short window back in the fall maybe? where it appeared they were using the 130 dates, but generally its you k3 date.

When you file for the 130(cr1) you get a priority date on your noa. Once you tie a 129f to that petition, the 129f's priority date becomes your "place in line". Thats why you see people who filed k3's(129f) long after their 130NOA1, get approved later than the "trend".

did that makes sense, cuzz Im having a bad morning and cant tell :heh:

Yes I have to agree with Lisa, I noticed that too. I just send my husband an IM telling him according to VJ the K 3 timeline has now reached August 10 (ours is Aug. 12  ) Not that it means anything but I try to find little shreds of hope I can hold on to in these crazy stressful times. TGIF though!! I don't think I would have been able to get out of bed otherwise! Had such a nite, but I am back on track today. I noticed that in January it was taking ppl 8 months to get approved but seems they got energized and are catching up and are now approving most ppl within the 7 mons window (Hope we are next JEN, SERENDIPITY, PRINCE+ANGEL and ME!!) probably cz they used our files for coasters for their coffees and became so energized from all the boost and started reviewing files quicker ;)

And Jen, I really love the term Limbo Land but here goes my revised version of the tradition:

Yeah VSC, thanks for using my file as coaster for morning coffee, afternoon coffee or early evening coffee...Please keep using it as long as needed and feel free to place it under any wobbly table that needs an extra boost. Thank you for granting me the opportunity to visit LIMBO LAND and FOG LAND cz I had only been to places like DISNEYLAND b4 this process started  OKAY now let's turn it back around cz this whole backward thing is freaking me out :o Keep up the good work. I give you one more month but promise you will let me skip AP ...hehe :P
