I was wondering if anybody has had this situation before? I emailed the embassy last week to see if my packet 3 forms had been processed...i got an email back on 13 June saying that they had completed processing my forms and they would write to me with the interview date and time. Because i had waited a week for a reply i emailed them again to ask the same question..today i got an email from them saying that they have received my forms but there is a delay before they can complete processing my forms and that i can expect to be contacted with an appointment date and time in 4 weeks. Seems strange to have 2 different emails one telling me that the processing is completed and one saying that they havent. I am beginning to get paranoid because on the second email it says..there is currently a delay before processing can be completed on your forms...do you think that this is standard or do you think that it is just my forms seen as they have said your forms...does your forms mean my forms or do they say this to everybody?

I think they sent me something like that as well - about it taking 4 weeks - it actually took a lot LESS than that - I was quite shocked when I got packet 4, cos it was about 1 week after I sent pkt 3, and the date for interview was something like 2 weeks after I received pkt 4..I was expecting a dealy of between 6-12 weeks as thats average according to their website.

Mine too! We just sent packet 3 today.

I hope it was just a standard e-mail message and you won't really have to wait 4 weeks.

Gym, our timelines are very similar - you should be getting your Packet 4 any day now!!
