K1 and attorney question

Ladies and Gents,

Here's a question that I've searched over and over again on VJ but couldn't find a straight answer.

If I'd fire the attorney who is representing us on our case (even though, he filed for all G-28 forms and I signed them), how could that affect our case and which forms should I file to get him out ?

The case it's pretty simple. The man is always hidding, never answers his calls nor emails, nor he does gives out clear intructions, therefore the BAR association will hear from me along with a full e-mail exchange history between us since our case begun...

Now, no sorrys, apologies nor popcorns to watch the drama.

ANY LAWYERS OUT THERE THAT COULD ANSWER THIS ?

Your attention is much appreciated.

if you decide to change representation that is your choice... USCIS/NVC/Consulate does not care

Pick up the phone, or better yet, go there and tell his secretary "You're fired! Give me all my papers now, I will wait here while you get them"

It will speed your case up when YOU get the papers and file everything as soon as possible. I hope you have ALL you interview documents done already, if not get them done, you don't need him. Try to get some of your money back, good luck. If you do not, well, education can be expensive. Education here is FREE. Forms are FREE. The USCIS couldn't care less if you have an attorney.

Ask you questions here, we don't hide, we DO return emails and I have returned tons of phone calls, all quickly and free of charge. Sometimes we make a mistake and when we (I) do, about 1000 other members will jump my case of rit right here and give you the correct answer. Some really good and caring people here helped me out and occasionally applied blunt instruments forcefully to my noggin, but it was all for my own good and our case went really, really smooth. Now I enjoy helping anyone I can or just having a mutaul interest conversation. My wife has spoken with, and calmed the nerves, of several Ukrainian and Russian fiancees also...in Russian and tpically picks up the phone tab. Get your lawyer to do THAT!!!! My email is alshootist@yahoo.com. You can also send me a PM at this site if you prefer and I have phone conversations with several VJ members here nearly every day, it is quite a great little community. Welcome and good luck!

As with anything in this realm, you read the instructions... you fire the attorney and submit a new g-28 (can't imagine why you did in the first place)

Thanks all for the answers...calling him up and telling him "YOU ARE FIRED" is not the problem... I guess the question should have been, what is the procedure to inform NVC about my attorney no longer representing me...

Thank you again.
