Will join this forum!!!! I was approved on the 9th. I called NVC this morning, and case has not yet been received/entered, as per customer service and AVR.

My suggestion would be to speak to an operator and not trust the AVR for accuracy, at times it is not up to date.

My CPA said I could file as single because my spouse and I haven't lived together in the last year. (We have NEVER lived together in the US). I hope he is right!

Yah but by filing single you don't get the deductions that you would of if you filed married/jointly therefore tax return will be way, way smaller.

i would recommend file jointly, filling single even married may raise questions

I called NVC today they still don't have my case. Yesterday I received my I-130 hard copy hooray

i just called nvc and operator told me ds-3032 and aos bill has been generated

Finally got the AOS bill yesterday and we paid the fees online now just to print cover sheets and mail the packages! Look the light at the end of the tunnel.

Got it from AVR. Just follow the directions. If you can't get it from AVR, call early in the morning starting at 7:30am Monday to Friday, and get an operator on the line.

It may take a few days, don't worry!

Hello All;

Our I-130s for wife and daughter approved 2/11 and 2/13 but still no K-3 approval. I was so counting on the K-3 approval

because I have been lead to believe that was the fastest way, so I have no idea what to do next. I do not have the number for NVC to see if the files are there and get numbers. I need some help with this from my friends here at VJ.

This site and the people here have been there for me when I needed someone who was understanding. After we are a family, I will return to help those who need it. I know how I felt when I knew nothing. I now know more than my contact at my congressman's

office, so I have been told. It has been by learning the hard way, but for good cause.

Number for NVC AVR is ( 603) 334-0700. and you can access an operator at that number also just follow the prompts.

also honestlyspkng while you wait for the K-3 to catch up just follow james shortcuts and the one on wiki. it will give you a flow chat of the I-130's process thru NVC and help you get it all done fast. the key is staying ahead of the game and being prepared.
