Could someone please share information about the requirements of the photo for a Russian International Passport? Maybe a link? I can't find what I am looking for when I search. I know it is different that the requirements for a US Passport. Thanks.

We are going to attempt the get my wife's passport renewed in the US.

Russian Fiancee - Moscow Embassy

1/27/06 Mailed I-129F to TSC and forwarded to CSC for K-1 & K-2 Visa

2/1/06 CSC received I-129F

2/7/06 Received NOA1 TSC

4/14/06 I-129F Approved

4/25/06 Received NOA2 TSC

5/12/06 Received at NVC

5/18/06 Mailed to US Embassy, Moscow

8/9/06 Physical Exams for K-1 & K-2

8/11/06 Interview Scheduled

8/11/06 VISA APPROVED

8/17/06 Visa Received

9/12/06 Flight from SVO

12/09/06 MARRIED

2/16/07 Mailed AOS, EAD, and AP

3/15/07 Biometrics scheduled (Had to Re-schedule)

3/22/07 Biometrics completed for K-1 & K-2

4/11/07 Received phone call from USCIS, Interview Scheduled, FBI check completed

We are going to attempt the get my wife's passport renewed in the US.

We renewed my wife's passport through the Russian embassy in Washington and just sent in a standard passport photo we had taken at Costco. No problem, but just in case you might look at the Russian embassy website. It has a lot of detail about renewing passports.

If at first you don't succeed, then sky diving is not for you.

Someone stole my dictionary. Now I am at a loss for words.

Ban shredded cheese. Make America Grate Again .

Hemorrhoids?  Shouldn't they be called Assteroids?

Dogs can't take MRI's but Cat scan.

After e-mailing the Russian Houston Embassy and not receiving any response, I was finally able to get through on the phone. I asked them about the passport photo. He said it needed to be the 35mm x 45 mm size because the head shot is smaller on the Russian passport. I told him that he Washington, DC Russian Embassy says 2"x2". He said they wanted the smaller picture. Now to find a place to take her photo. Thanks for the info. I guess each Russian Embassy is different in what they want for the same Passport. :angry:

Easy enough. Just go to the local drug store where they take passport photos and when they take the picture have them back up a few feet (most places do it with a hand held camera). The head will be a little smaller in the photo. Take it home and cut out the correct size.
