I just realized that the 2 year anniversary of our first wedding (the official for immigration purposes only) is coming up in a few days. It seems like just yesterday, we were filling out forms for the K-1 visa. And now we have to apply for Removing Conditions (just got the notice yesterday). Yay!!!

Congratulations! time does fly - I agree. I remember being jealous because you were so far ahead in the process :)

Did you say they send a notice reminding you about Removing conditions? That's handy - of course I ma so hiped and ready for it anyway, I couldn't possibly iss it!

Hi Autumnchik and Everyone,

Happy 2nd wedding anniversary to you and your husband, Autumnchik! May you and your husband have a happy one and have many more years of happy anniversaries to come too.

I agree, time sure has gone by so quickly, and "it only seems like yesterday"....

For me, I can't believe my husband and I are approaching our 3rd anniversary soon, with our Baby on the way...wow...it only seemed like yesterday (lol..ok...more like the 10th year anniversary of that coming up) that we first started talking online and 5 years ago since we first met in-person....

And yes, I've been "married to the USCIS" for the last 2+ years too. Lol...Don't get me started on the Removal of Conditions process, as I've approaching my 6th month anniversary with that one and still am waiting for another 5-6 months or so on that to be approved at the VSC...

Lol...and yes, I'm looking forward to "divorcing the USCIS" soon on our 3rd anniversary, since I apply for US Citizenship this year (oh my, it's time for me to do that already) and get approved for that next year too, and never have to deal with them anymore after that. After all, I'm "married to my husband", and "not married to the USCIS", right?

Good luck everyone, on the rest of your immigration journeys too!

P.S. What? Now everyone gets a reminder as to when to file for removal of conditions? Lol..Gee, I feel so left out, as I never got one of those "I-751 reminders" last year from the USCIS! Nevertheless, they better send me that 10yr green card soon, that I paid so much and waited so long for!..I'm not letting this one slide at all!
