Morning MENA! I hope everyone has a good day.

I hope you feel better Kelly. That sucks about H and R! I've used turbo tax online for the last 6 years.

I've been using turbo tax too. After the first time I used it, I felt silly for paying others so much. Those accountants are basically staring at the same screen answering the same questions but turbo tax is way cheaper.

Morning everyone!

Im so sick and thinking I will hardly leave the couch today. Its a good thing zaid knows how to keep himself entertained. I feel like I have oceans in my ears.

So i found out last night that the reason my tax return is so delayed is bc H AND R Block made a mistake when doing them and I am actually getting back 500$ more than was anticipated. Happy to know but pissed that I paid almost 300$ for them to prepare them for me and they couldnt even do it right. I will be calling there shortly demanding compensation. TIP OF THE DAY....Dont use H AND R

Sorry about the tax thing, but at least you'll be getting more $$ back! I had a feeling that sick thing on Monday was more than just allergies Kelz.... stay on the dang couch and get plenty of rest & lots of fluids dagnabit!

thanks noura. Yes problem was it all started with sneezing which can be cured with a claritin. but the minute my tonsills started to hurt and my ears got clogged i knew something bad was coming.

And yes, I have learned my lesson on paying people to do your taxes. I went to the H and R website and found you can do it for free and it is the same exact software they have and walks you thru, step by step. Next year I will definitly do it myself

As a rule, I never have any taxable income so I don't have to do my taxes except the Homestead and home heating credit...but now that I'm married and he works we had to file. So we went last Friday, paid some money and got the taxes done. I will pay someone gladly as long as I don't have to deal with tax preparation , which I didn't pay, my husband did. I get to keep the nice return. :D

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Grrr... I dislike when he falls asleep in the middle of a serious conversation! I just don't get it. How can he fall asleep like that when he was just talking to me coherently a second and now he leaves me hanging.
