On the I-129 where it asks for my Fiance's state I accidentally put "Bukidmon" instead of "Bukidnon" Will I get a RFE for this? Should I send them a new copy of the I-129F form? If so how do I do this. I do not want our case delayed over this.

Thank you

Conan, I would not worry about it...its a simple spelling mistake...im sure you wont get a RFE

However, if you want to be sure, when USCIS sends you the receipt notice just update the address...

I really doubt you will get an RFE for such a thing. The VSC or CSC that processes your petition will likely not know the difference and the state or province of the person does no appear on a final documents, the consulate will likely recognize the mistake for what it is, a spelling error, no big deal. Mention it to them at your interview if you want.

i dont see them sending you an RFE for mispelling the state by one letter...i mean, USCIS couldnt even get the spelling of my husbands name correct, still cant...so i doubt youll see an RFE.

husbands name: Eduard Ionescu

USCIS still spells it: EDQUARDO LONESKO

i am constantly having to make them correct this :)

youll be fine!

dont freak on a wrong spelling... When i got the USEM letter for interview. they made a wrong spelling on my address and they let it go. Even the GREAT USEM makes mistakes.

Having a lot of ladies from the Philippines using the fiancee visa, im sure the NVC is now familiar with the provinces in the Philippines esp in the Visayas and Mindanao areas... im very sure they know its BUKIDNON..but be sure you place the right ZIP CODE.
