He's cute! Think of him as an adult when you name him:-). I liked Chaplin - it seems to fit him - but then I thought Siegfried when I first saw him, too, hehehe.

I like Oreo, that's too cute! I showed his picture to a friend and the first thing out of her mouth was Oreo!

Maybe Absinthe 'cause of those gorgeous green eyes. Or Mephistopheles if he's rather mischevious :) But that's kind of a hard word to yell out several times over...

Besides, the resident Goth is generally going to come up some weird names lol

Otherwise, he does kinda look like Charlie Chaplin. My hubby thinks Winston Churchill.

I like the idea of naming kitties whatever seems to come naturally. My pair were called by the previous owners Jax and Jasmine. After a week or so in my house they became Mr. Jackson and Miss Bella.

  • 7/7/08 -- I-129f sent
  • 7/9/08 -- I-129f received at CSC
  • 7/24/08 -- NOA1 (finally!)
  • 12/2/08 -- NOA2 (WOOT!!!!)
  • 12/8/08 -- received at NVC
  • 12/22/08 -- packet 3 (with packet 4 attachment instead of checklist :P)
  • 12/29/08 -- packet 3 sent back with bits and pieces that I pulled together to make up a packet 3
  • 1/5/09 -- actual packet 3 received, but found out by via e-mail that they were satisfied with what I had already provided
  • 2/10/09 -- found out via call to DoS that my interview is scheduled!
  • 3/16/09 -- interview!!!! APROVED!!!
  • 4/7/09 -- MOVE!!!!!!!!
    Crossed at Detroit/Windsor Tunnel... pretty painless, about 45 minutes, inexperienced officer, asked for and received EA stamp
  • 4/13/09 -- Married in New Orleans!!!!!!!!
  • 5/30/09 -- Filed AOS/AP/EAD
  • 6/1/09 -- AOS etc received in Chicago

Another thing about him is that he purrs SOOO LOUD.

We thought of the name Harley but it just doesn't seem to suit him.

Well we've decided on CHARLIE!!!

It's suiting him and when I call him it, it feels right.

Today was awesome. Mojo and Charlie have been playing together all day. No hissing, no growling, just play time and an afternoon nap.

I'm so shocked, we've only had him for not even 4 days.

Crazy!!! :)
