Roman - I'm doing great today! Pat got his passport, visa and the BIG brown envelope in the mail yesterday!!! AND today was my Jessie's first day of 2nd grade!!! If anyone is interested, I'll put a picture of her in my photos in a bit!

Good to see everyone is here today. Like all of you money is a bit tight here also. Can't get my clients to fork over money due to the recession. i been working flea markets saturday and sunday selling different things to help with th bills. i made $400.00 this weekend so i was a little happy but last week i begged people to give me the money they owe me for my business and that didn't happen. but a new week and if richard the man can stay positive then so can i..

yes Richard, she's leaving lima friday the 4th 11.30pm and arriving nyc 8.30am this saturday...

wow... what a day...we plan to have a big together at this local bar my friends and I hang out, also coming with their girlfriends and some gal friends will show up to meet her and we plan to have a good time saturday night/sunday a.m

There'll be plenty of mojitos and drinks...and the bartender always give us free rounds since we are always a big group, now so far its bigger...like 30 people coming so far... we're gonna pack that place lol

How's everyone doing btw? I'm also hurting financially but i got a loan from a relative, hopefully i'll be able to pay it once i get a part time job in my old job...i always go back there when i need extra cash lol lets hope this time its fine too because of the ailing economy... but i have my hopes up. I also started school this saturday, taking one class, its nothing but better than not going at all. lol

Liz - She is adorable, what a little cutie!

The finances are one thing and being apart from my SO is another. I don't even worry about the money when I know it's for him to get here well and safe. I work at a grocery store right now with part time hours and not amazing pay so I'm hoping for a better job in Washington and maybe to help my Mom with her business. Ah.. at least Lampros is already done and over with college so he can work and I'll be able to finish without so much worry. Also the big aspect of having him here with me will lessen the stress 10 fold. I think I'll actually make money on this move too as I get rid of all my extra junk.

I am happy to hear that you two are doing well Roman! Everything progressing as it should I hope? Where all have you taken her in the city. I need you to do me a favor. Supposedly there is a gourmet PB&J restaurant in the village somewhere. I am going to New York in December and I would like to know if this place is worth going to. If you could go there and let me know if it's any good that would be awesome.

Oksana is doing great. Doing all of the good bye parties and things of that nature. So she isn't even thinking about it at all. We got her plane tickets to Moscow already and her mother is going to meet her on the same day so thats covered. Now it is just the waiting and I think I am by far more anxious than she is. I have just been keeping my mind occupied as much as humanly possible. Thankfully school is starting this week and so that will occupy a ton of my time.

Thanks Roman. Although that is really weird that you don't like PB&J. It's greatness lies in it's simplicity. You should probably give it another chance. Either way we will check it out when we are up there.
