Good morning Feb fam...you guys are a riot. I finally caught up...and I laughed and giggled all the way through. Unfortunately, my weekend was full of tears and pain meds. I'm still in tremendous pain from my neck surgery. The doc gave me a new nerve pill that works but I can't function on it. I'm stumbling and walking into walls and furniture. I went to sit on the toilet and sat on the extra toilet paper canister instead (OUUUUCCHHH!!! $#%^&*@!!!) My kids laughed because they are kids...but they try to help me so I don't have to leave the bed much.

I'm rooting for your fast approvals this week!

I have to echo Maire's response... that does suck! I make a mean chicken soup... not sure it works for neck surgery though.

Awww how sweet! Another VJ member brought me dinner once...it was so good!

I was not in great spirits this weekend (I cried ALL weekend even Mother's Day was bad) so I stayed off the computer. I cried a lot because this has been going on since 2007...I let the doctor convince me that surgery was the best option...and now my quality of life is changed forever. I can't even take my comforter off the bed without draping it like a coat on my back...can't carry anything over 5 lbs...I'm just tired of this constant pain...the back and forth out of work...and people being insensitive because they assumed I should be all better by now.

I feel like a drug head junkie most times...and I HATE taking pills.

Enough about my miserable ailments...I want to read some more jokes please. LOL

I'm not picking on Maire...she is my girl! How is everything in Brazil? Can you send me a few scenery pics? I want to visit eventually. How English-friendly is Brazil (meaning will I get lost and start crying because I don't recognize any of the local cuisine or have any clue what people are saying to me)...is the native language Portuegese or Spanish? I know I could look it up...but you are right here...soooooo... :whistle::thumbs:

I always fear being the one tourist that went off on her own adventure only to be seen 20 years later with a full coat of hair all over her body thinking she is a wolf or something.
