But RIchard on my stuff i sent her the I134 form i never changed the address. but i told her to change it on her forms. and i told her if they ask just say his ex wife is moving out on august 1st or august 15th. that is why i didn't change it. That she will live here permanently after that. Do you think that will fly?

I don't see why not... people are pretty mobile in the states... but if you are worried about it just change the address after she arrives here. DONT SWEAT the SMALL STUFF :)

Ok Now here is my second question. The visa specialist made a mistake and put down on the letter to marry that she and i met in Brazil but that wasn't true we ahd met online and met for the first time five months later in aruba. So like the Roman said the interviewer asked where did we meet? i told her to say online that it shouldnt be a problem and that the visa specialist made a mistake if they ask why does it say in brazil...

I appreciate the advice but i want it to show the correct address for right now... not my mom's address. i started this process last year. so i am going to call the consulate today and ask them what they think? of course not give my name? lol...

Does anyone if plane tickets have to roundtrip or one way??????

I know when I was checking flights for September Roman, some of the roundtrip flight details were better, less waiting time on stop overs etc, and there wasn't that much difference in price. price both and see what the stop overs are like, I know when I was looking there was a 8 hour less stop over on the round trip for something like $100. I'd rather pay the $$ than wait around 8 hours.

Honesty being the best policy.... you met online... and then met in person in Aruba. If they ask... just explain that the 'specialist' was an idiot! :) I don't think the COs at the Embassy look that closely or at least that was my impression when I was in Warsaw.

I looked yesterday for Roman and flights were 612... today they are 900 and change! what a difference a day makes huh? ;)

Don't worry about the flights going up in price today. What happens is the airlines release a certain amount of cheap flights every week, it just means that hte lower price tickets have been purchased already for this quota released. I bet if you check again next week, there will be more cheap tickets available. this always happened to me when i was going to the states, but I found if you just wait a few days you will get a cheaper ticket. :)

I just called NVC and our file was sent to Dublin yesterday. woo hoo. I hope the rest of the journey is plain sailing :star:

For those who might want to track their package from the NVC to the embassy, I found a good wiki on the whole process for IR1/CR1 which had details on how to do this. The following is how you can do this (I tested this and it works ok as long as you include the spaces in the reference as described and use a date that is a workday - so if your file was sent yesterday, you may need to put in friday's date):

" * 1. NVC sets an appointment date for you and sends out your package to the US Embassy.

If you're really #######, paranoid, or just a busybody, you can track the package status. You can use the date after your interview was assigned, as the tracking reference date, and then do a search on DHL. The format to use is "EXP 07 OCT 2008A" don't forget the spaces...and to set the date range on the tracking page. The website for tracking is. http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef The package may not go out on the next day, but the reference code will still be for that date. When your package is able to be tracked, it will make more sense. You'll see a list of packages going to different embassies. You'll know which one is yours. "

So for those sent yesterday use the reference of "EXP 10 JUL 2009A" and enter a date range that includes yesterday. then just find your embassy and click on the tracking number...

Roman, I also read somewhere that some airlines give you a break when getting a one way ticket for immigration purposes... It might be worth calling the airlines too.

Oh?? I didn't know this! I'll have to let Pat know..hehe!
