Even if I wanted to live in Cuba...we are not allowed to stay there....and is not like I was going to anyways..I dont see my life without a car, cell, computer access, AC, running water, toilet paper, microwave, washer/dryer, ohh nooooooo

Anyone else here the words to "Material Girl" by Madonna when you read this? *giggle*

its just easier to get used to the "good stuff" I was born without any of that and I was fine..because I didnt know any better..but now I cant live without them

and *spanks* for u

Rich we will be number one if we have one years time like they have. I mean we are a family here so as our interviews start coming up and then wedding pictures we have to show each other and the reunion we have to plan for. We will easily be the top thread.

Dave I hear you. I live here pretty well, but for the most part I could walk away from almost all of it without thinking twice. Don't get me wrong I love it here, but I love Oksana more. I live now as a minimalist. I don't need much to be entertained. I would miss the weather the most though. Thankfully I don't think it'll come to that.

WOW :content: just yesterday I was on here whining about us not receiving our approval notice (receipt was back in late February) .... then a half hour later I decided to check the status of our application online 'just in case' and *ping!* approval! I couldn't believe my eyes. Perhaps it was good luck, writing on this forum! This is clearly a good sign for all Feb filers.

Thanks for the mojito. ^_^

Actually, I think if we were denied, I might have to consider retiring early and us all moving to Antigua earlier than planned :)

lmao you guys are funny, alot of people have told us that we make a cute couple...will post some in the photo album if someone tells me how to and I'll do it whenever i have some free time. For now imma focus on keeping my desk empty so i dont have anything stuck around here and in between so i can go to the interview at least with my mind clear from work. OH YEA...i forgot to tell you all... the interview is at 8.30AM aug. 6. I get to Lima Aug. 6 at 4.30am! lol guess who's gonna be sleeping in the cab on the way there... lol

I told my girl to not even pick me up at the airport, i want her relaxed and as long as she opens the door i can find my way around :P

So whoever never had a mojito had one over this weekend???? and remember it had to be with natural mint leaves otherwise its not the good stuff.

PS: Hola cubanita!

Ok...this was the "fun" I had this weekend:

My new house before the fun began...

IMG_5256.jpg

And here's the after picture...

frontafter2.jpg

This is the pile of brush we pulled away from the house....

frontafter4.jpg

This rocks Liz! Wow!

Susan,

Jawi bailed on me (bad Jawi, Bad!) so the Caribbean BBQ was postponed due to lack of attendance. I froze the marinaded chicken and London Broil so perhaps this weekend Rich will come by and Jawi will come out and play too. Maybe I can even get Maire to hop a plane and get away for the weekend (hint hint).

I did not however spare the rum and had Mojitos ALL weekend.

Regarding your conversation with the 'nice lady'. I would assume (and I hate to do that) that you should take her at face value for what she said and that your file would in fact go out more or less as she said.

:crying::blush::(:oops::cry:
