No not yet, but I did get a letter from NVC yesteday. It was dated July 2, 2009 and it stated that they received my approved I129F and it should be sent to the appropriate Embassy in about one weeks time. etc. I find the date odd since when I called they told me it was received on the 25th of June. Either way I hope it goes out soon.

On one hand, I guess, I can understand, having to come back and read 10 pages of posts can be daunting. On the other hand and in my opinion this thread is for supporting each other through the process and again from my personal point of view I think we do a great job of that even if it is not exactly the way other threads do it. Take for example the March thread.... I really like the people there and they only have 72 pages of posts so it is quite easy to read. It is mostly ON topic which is fine... But it isnt the support I (personally) am looking for.

In hindsight perhaps we should have made a thread of off topic support... but TOO LATE we are here!

And yes, we are ALL very happy to try to answer questions and point people to places to get information... We have all done that and I know we all will continue to do that.

Which reminds me... Susan, I posted a few hundred messages back that my SO was able to download the form for the police report from the Embassy website and get it well in advance of the interview (which by the way the police report was waiting for her when she got home yesterday). Were you able to do the same? Maybe you even missed the post from all the 'clutter'?

Lee, in answer to your question on plans... I am thinking I am going to look at table-saws this weekend. I need to do some cabinet work around the house and I really can't do the work without a nice table-saw. So I am going to buy me a belated Father's Day gift. How about you?

Also... back on the off topic discussion... there are icons we can use that appears next to the posts and one of them is a Blue Question Mark... perhaps we should use it when we have a question and answer... so that it may make it easier for others to read the thread? Just an idea

Also I am having a BBQ on Saturday for the fights. Nothing too exciting, but I am looking forward to it. Table saw huh. Nice is there nothing more manly than being able to cut through wood in record time? I think not.

I have some cleaning to do as well, My project, here at work, has come to an end so I will also be hunting for some work.

The fights this weekend are going to be good. I am waiting for the top 10 best fights also. They have done a top 100 and 10 are left. I bet I know what the number 1 fight will be Lee.

Liz while the offer sounds tempting I am afrai I am going to have to pass. Maybe next time we'll see.

Derek I have been avoiding the show all week. They are going to show them all on Saturday leading up to the fights. I am pretty sure its going to be Griffin/Bonnar 1. I don't agree that its the greatest, but it is the most important at least in my opinion. That sucks about your project. Will you be able to find something quick enough so you don't hurt too bad in the wallet?

Yea it is THE fight that excited fans. I personally like Huges/Trigg 2... That one just kinda stuck to me. I think there have been many good wars that could easily be no 1 but the way that fight played out was great.
