Just wondering.....

since there are TONS of papers we are trying to keep organized....my fiance bought a couple of binders that have metal rings in the middle....

i have read everywhere that the london embassy doesnt allow electronics or certain bags...etc....

would it be okay that he has the 3ring binder?

if not, is there another easy way to bind all these forms together that is easily detachable and can hold a lot??

thanks!

You can bring in the metal ring binders @ the embassy in London.

BUT, it may be difficult instead of making it easier for you to unclasp the rings and look for papers and then re-clasp them.

Also, I don't know if you are familiar with the way the embassy booth's look, but you will not be able to slip in binders for the CO to look at since they will be too big for the window space. If you are doing it for personal organization and feel comfortable that way, it's fine, they are allowed in the embassy, you will go through the security scanner and so will the things you bring with you (besides the stuff that is NOT allowed, and you already know that).

I chose expandable file folders with tabs, something like this: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/4770...esktop-File-14/

They are easier to carry, easier to organize with the tabs, easy to take out the papers as asked at the time of interview.

:)

Good luck!

We used a lever arch file and put each document (with its copy) in a punched document sleeve in that file, with sections divided by coloured tabs. When we were asked for a specific document, we flipped to the section and were able to slide out the documents. We still use the file to collect all the various bits and bobs related to immigration that we'll need for removing conditions.
