So, you all know that we bought a new (to us) house. You all know my son needs dual hearing aides (ordered today) that are a thousand dollars each. You all also know that the ceiling in my living room collapsed the other day due to a water pipe leak in the attic. What you all DON'T know yet is that NOW the washing machine is backwashing into both bathtubs and toilets causing them to overflow. Taking a shower also causes the toilets to both overflow. Both of the bathrooms are carpet and are completely soaked with about 1 inch of water.

We bought a sewer snake yesterday and hubby was working with it. He asked me to come help him and all was well and good UNTIL he started pulling the snake out. My hands started burning like fire to the point I had to excuse myself and soak them in soapy water to get rid of the burn. It took about 5 washings to relieve the stinging and my hands have 1st degree burns all over them. Husband neglected to tell me that he #1 used a drain cleanser in the pipes before using the snake and #2 the cleanser is a poison that clearly states that you should wear heavy duty rubber gloves and goggles because the chemicals WILL CAUSE SEVERE BURNS..... he didn't read the directions....

THEN TO TOP IT OFF I was at work today and went to the banyo. As I copped a squat, the zipper pulled out of the seam of my pants.... I immediately started giggling to myself almost uncontrollably....went back into the pharmacy, still giggling, and excused myself to go have a smoke.....where I busted into tears..... :help:

poor thing! I'll go smoke with ya

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

What an honour to share tobacco. I'll supply the smokes. (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
