unemployment stress

(im the USC and he came to US by fiance visa)

im one of the not so lucky ones who got laid off from their jobs because of the economic crisis...im planning on filing for unemployment (we just got approved for AOS this Jan 2009-- so we have a little less than 2 years till we apply to remove the condition) but before i file for unemployment.. can anyone please enlighten us whether filing for unemployment benefits would be a negative impact for my husband when we file to remove the conditions on his greencard...

ive been stressing about this and trying to look for information here and the USCIS site but cant find the answers i need..

can anyone please help me ......

04-1998 his sister/ my friend introduced us to each other..

04-24-1998 got together as boyfriend and girlfriend..

........... 8 YEARS AND 8 MONTHS LATER...............

12-23-2006 he proposed in baguio city philippines.. of course i said YES!!!

01-09-2007 back to US

07-06-2007 mailed I-129F packet

07-09-2007 I-129F delivered (Laguna Niguel)

07-07-2007 NOA1

waiting ... waiting.... waiting....

11-10-2007 - February 5, 2008 went to the Philippines

12-17-2007 NOA2

02-18-2008 mailed him necessary documents

02-21-2008 he passed the local nursing boards... wooohooo :)

02-22-2008 he received the package

02-26-2008 schedule of his physical

02-272008 continuation of his physical

03-02-2008 MY BIRTHDAY...

03-04-2008 INTERVIEW DATE!!!!!! PASSED IT... WOOOHOOOOO

03-26-2008 visa delivered.... FINALLY!!!!!!!!

03-27-2008 got plane ticket...

04-01-2008 CFO

04-11-2008 U.S. arrival

04-24-2008 CIVIL WEDDING /OUR 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY

04-25-2008 file SSN

Finances and employment don't come into play removing conditions. Main thing is you have a valid marriage and you are living together!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Also, you guys have bee together since 1998??? I'm sure you'll have more than enough information showing a valid marriage when the time comes :)

10/04/06 - RFE request I-485

10/11/06 - RFE response rec'd by USCIS

10/12/06 - BIOMETRICS done!

11/18/06 - Interview Notice in mail (Day 60)

12/26/06 - *TOUCH* I-765, EAD approval notice sent (Day 98)

12/29/06 - Received EAD, applied for SSN (Day 101)

01/03/07 - *TOUCH* I-130, I-485, I-765 received EAD (Day 106)
