The question is: once we are married, will my peruvian wife need anything more from the government to apply as a transfer student to a US college? Would she apply as a International Transfer or regular transfer student? Would she be required to meet the F-1 visa requirements for evidence of financial support and would she need a f-1 visa as well? Thanks for any help provided.

She will still be an international transfer student. Universities vary in their policy on this one; most require out-of-state/country tuition until residency for a period of time (how much varies by school) can be proven. She will not need any further visas, K-1 visa holders do not have to meet the F-1 requirements nor do they need any additional visa.
