Across the street from the U.S. Embassy stands this very cool restaurant - La Cabaña Del Sheriff (The Sheriff's Cabin). Inside, it smelled like a cabin - Mesquite had the entire restaurant smelling like a cowboy's campfire, and the food was just as good as what you get in the old west. After your interview, this would be a great place to visit!  :thumbs:http://www.cabanadelsheriff.com

Ken,

congrtas on your approval - ours was on the 8th and it went pretty much the same as yours but the only difference is that they did not ask for any evidence at all.

They Spoke to Bianca for a minute than asked her to have a seat. The rest of the interview was all questions towards myself... questions about my previous marriage, my job and my kids.

I have been to Colombia 10 times so I think that might have been enough evidence for them.

CHECK THIS OUT - The 8th was our interview and my birthday so my baby decided to hire a trio to seranade me with love songs and happy birthday.....

Good luck you you and every one else

P.S. can you please let me know when you recieve the visa so I can have an idea of when we might recieve ours :star:

Happy Birthday, Twister!

No evidence? I guess you paid for it in airline miles.LOL

I spoke with Leidys last night about using her tracking number to find out when our visa might arrive. I will be calling her again tomorrow evening, so maybe by then, the visa will leave the U.S. Embassy. Hmmm. We'll see...

I spent the weekend with my friends at the Off-Road Expo. Just spending time with them, answering questions about the U.S. Embassy interview, when I'm getting married, how things went with Leidys, etc. Here is a photo of the guys I hang with.

That must be real frustrating, waiting around for this to all happen, with your impending departure for South Korea. How long will you be there? I hope to meet you and Adriana either on your way there, or when you return if you make it through Southern CA. Buena suerte, amigo.

Ken thanks for posting those pics of Leidys, I feel like I'm back in the apartment once again. I remember I used to sit in those balconies and just stare at the patios of the homes across the street while drinking my morning coffee. It's a great apartment to rent even if it's not for US embassy related trips I think.

Congrats homeboy.

A woman walked the line, and the family members had to stand to one side while the actual patient handed in their pruebas and passports. Everyone was told to wait outside while the patients were seen indoors. A nice cafe was downstairs where one parent waited, and I decided to walk the city a little and take some photographs. It feels like I was there yesterday...
