Friday, Leaving for Medellin... Interview is Oct 7th... Excited about finally getting this part of the journey behind us, but Scared as can be..

I beleive I am well prepared, but still very nervous.. I know that this is by no means a rubber stamp, so Not sure what to expect.. Everyone, continue to keep us in your prayers...

Anxiety is kind of my nature anyway... :unsure:

7-13-10 - I-129F sent by USPS Expressmail to VSC;

10-18-10 - NOA2!!!!!!!!!! (Received in hand 10-22-10)

11-12-10 - Sent email to Embassy asking about petition; response "Petition rec'd; send in documents"; sent same day

11-24-10 - Called the Department of State; interview has been scheduled

11-29-10 - Package 3 received by beneficiary

01-19-11 - Interview - VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!

01-27-11 - Passport received; visa in hand

02-08-11 - POE - Fort Lauderdale, Fla MISSED FLIGHT; 02-10-11 - POE second time's the charm. Easy POE. Welcome to the USA.

And, I can definitely understand the nerves. They're getting a bit more frazzled each day as we approach the 3 week mark. Can't even imagine what they'll be like the week before!

My fiancee is planning to go to the Red Cross to get shots, is this list still correct? Are there any other shots we'll need? Any idea how much the shots will cost at the Red Cross?

I just asked him if he filled something out in the airport and he told me the flight attendent gave a paper to fill out and he did so they stapled like a half piece of paper to his passport i just looked and its stamped and it says I-94 on the bottom. this is it right?! thank god!

Just make a copy of it and send it off with the I-485.

hello everyone just wanted to update what is going on. the doctor said she is all better and she can come to the usa. we called today and made an appointment to go back to the embassy and give them the medical and pay for visa. the only thing i do not like is the doctor kept all the papers and said they will send to the embassy. what happens if when we are there on oct 13 they say doctor no send, call they call and verify? i think everyting will be fine with that but i worry a little bit because i do not want to wait anymore. i hope everyone elses interviews are going fine. best of luck to everyone

I would email or call the embassy before you travel to Bogota to verify. They should be able to tell you that information.
