July Filer or August Filer?

Hello,

I don’t post here often but I figured if anyone could help me it would be the fellow VJ’ers! As of lately I’ve been anxiously waiting for our NOA2, and it has come to me that I may be waiting longer than I originally thought I would be. My question is, am I technically a July filer or an August filer? I sent out the petition on July 8th, it was received on the 15th and we got our NOA1 on August 4th. I know this may be a stupid question, but it's a bit confusing when our NOA1 came the following month. I’ve read in the 6+ months waiting club that a few were told VSC is currently working on cases received around July 15th. I guess just seeing the timeline go from supposedly being adjudicated in October, November, December, and now “January 22, 2009 and February 8, 2009” is a little disheartening. Any insight is helpful, thank you!:thumbs:

Well I'd think you were a July filer...that's when you sent your package off.

Out timeline for adjudication went back and forth quite a bit near the end..three weeks out once and two days later it went 2 weeks back. It made me nuts to watch it...but I did

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I would go with whatever the date is PRINTED on your NOA1 for the official file date.

Thanks you all. The NOA1 says the petition was received on July 15, 2008, and the Notice Date is August 4, 2008. I too figured I was a July filer at first because of it being sent and received then, but I always had an inkling that it may be August. ^_^
