However, my car doors, every one of the 4 of them were frozen shut this morning.

Just as I was ready to go run in and get the hot water...my 16 year old son managed to pull his open.

LOL, I hate when that happens, and that's about once a week up here. Usually, one of the back doors open, so I can manage to wiggle my way into the front seat. Not so much fun when the back is loaded with bins of recycling that I was too lazy to drop off at the recycling center the previous weekend.

02/23/08 - Filed for removal of conditions.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

Morning Mena! Well its been a he]] of a 24 hours here. First, the stuff with my future daughter in law the other night. and yesterday Kamal got a call telling us that our baby neice (not even 2 months) died! :crying::crying: We have just been in a state of shock. I feel helpless cause I know this hit him hard, as it did me.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Hope everyone has a good Thursday. i am happy that another week is almost over. that snow/ice storm sucked butt yesterday. nice and sunny and cold today. looks nice but i think ill stay inside and enjoy the pretend nice weather.

38 days til Josh and i go home. Yayyy

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

I have been meaning to get that deicer....but after really not having much winters lately

we get used to not having to be prepared and then BAM! unprepared :blush:

hey guys, happy thursday

well this ice storm took our power and it will probably be another week before its on again :(

we spent 8 days without when ike came up here... but this time its freezing.

i guess we'll go stay at moms :girlwerewolf2xn: lol

at least im at work after a couples days and can charge the phone and get warm while josh is at daycare warm and having fun.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Happy Thursday everyone

Yes everything is burried under snow here too... thnk God hubby walks to skool so he doesnt have to deal with the car. last night we burned rubber just park :wacko:

The snow is melting here at a sunny 34 degree! :thumbs: I'm off to finish the last piece today!!! I'm getting more nervous and excited! Now it's just a month wait maybe to know the final details. :blush: Shh.. It's a secret. I'll let you know when I find out.
