My fiance was just wondering about the vaccination. She heard that there are 15 shots she and her daughter will have to take. I know I read on this site already the St Lukes medical visit, but I cannot find the tread. Can someone please refresh the Medical experience and how many shots they recieved. My fiance is kinda worried about her daughter. Also what are the fees now.

Hi, tell your fiance not to worry about vaccine. She will be given vaccine appropriate to her age and to her daughter but 100% sure not 15 shots, that`s too much! She will be having interview immunization , from there they will based the vaccines, what will be given to them. I have my 3 vaccine shots during my medical. About the fees, the medical fee is 213$ , and when she pay to the cashier it will be payable in Philippine peso depends on the foreign exchange of the day. Daily , the fees is different because of the dollar rate. During my time, I paid 10, 240.80 pesos , that`s the exchange as of Dec. 18, 2008, maybe today it would be lesser of maybe higher depends on the Forex. Good to their medical and God bless!

Now I'm screwed! I had my MMR and Tdap vaccines last Jan6, 2009. SLEC didn't told me the interval of the MMR and Tdap.

So, I only took my 2nd shot of HPV yesterday and sent my DS-3025 to Dr. Arnold's office.

Will I get an RFE for this? I'll be submitting my AOS forms before this month ends.

PLs help!

i just had my 2nd day of med exam yesterday. god both my arms still hurts. they will NOT give all 15 shots in one day. that's crazy. they will give the appropriate vaccine to your fiance and her child. they will give it depends on the result of their vaccination interview. the doctor will explain why she will be given the type of shot. in my case i got MMR, HPV, TD and Varicella. The freaking MMR hurts than the 3 shots. it will be the last shot the physician will give.

oh the medical fee.. i paid Php10,454.78

dollar exchange rate changes everyday. so just prepare Php11,000.00 for it. your child and fiance will have extra money for lunch and snack. cause they will wait for hours specially on the day they will get vaccine and get the vaccine sheet. i was sitting on my butt for like 4 hours waiting to be called for vaccine and for my vaccine sheet release.

Is it important to make an appointment for medical or just show up there and show the appointment letter? If appointment is needed how do we do it?

I hope those who have gone through it would answer.

Thanks in advance.

JUST SHOW UP THERE and SHOW the interview appointment letter and letter from US Embassy with case number.

The security officer will stamp date and SLEC on it. NO need to make an appointment for medical.
