I wanted to ask, for any of the OLD TIMERS on VJ like me..(talking like 2004) does anyone know what happened to Bornot2be, Lebanese Mama, Andrea, tariktchach, reddaisy, honeyblonde, those were such regulars on here for SUCH a long time. Would be nice to have an update on them if anyone talks to them still.

Kelz, Bornot2be is (if I'm not mistaken) living in Morocco w/ her hubby. I am in touch regularly w/ honeyblonde and she's on FB, so I'll suggest her to you as a friend. I often think of Tracy (tariktchach) and wonder how/where they are. I haven't heard anything about/from Lebanese Mama or Andrea for a while.

Look for the FB suggestion soon.

I've heard from bosco and WOM on occasion. Both are doing well :star:

Ok, now my moaning and groaning:

Some @#$!@# left their window open for weeks on end (when we've been uber sub zero), causing the pipe in the heating system to burst. So we had no heat when I came home. They "fixed" it, but it was 60 degrees when I woke up this morning. :blink: We normally keep it at 74, so it was waaay nippy.

Also, the husband got 2 tickets to see Faust at the Minnesota Opera tonight...but...he can't go, and I can't find anyone to go with me :crying:

02/23/08 - Filed for removal of conditions.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

He flew Delta....Egypt air the last time he flew here. I have flown it twice, it wasn't my favorite but it got me where I was going.
