Okay I am just looking ahead b/c we still don't have our NOA2 and I am really upset. My fiance had surgery today :( But anyways I emailed our embassy in Jo'burg and everyone says there is no doctor in Cape Town where he is and the embassy says yes there is one. Could I go with what the embassy says or must I follow our packet and their approved doctors?

There are no medical examiners in Cape Town.

The medical instructions are included in the appointment letter. All medical exams must be performed by a panel physician pre-approved by the Consulate General in Johannesburg. http://southafrica.usembassy.gov/visas/medical.pdf Hope this helps.
