Stella did you not put tax transcripts with your N-400. I did. Was I supposed to take them to the interview

I attached copies of my returns, which I keep at home, with my application. But for the interview I would like to have the official transcripts from the IRS.

ahhh ok. I thought I had done something silly by sending them in with my application.

I did the same thing. I sent in my 1040's, ordered my transcripts , never got asked for them at the interview.

Received 8 envelopes with my tax return and tax account transcripts today. That was fast!

I did not send tax transcripts with the N-400 and I just double checked in the document checklist of N-400, they are not required.

Not required, but people have been asked for them before. You never want to give them any reason to delay your process ro say you did nto provide something.
