Traveling Before Interview

I plan to go abroad for a week before the citizenship interview. Since I did not list this travel on N400 form, could there be any issues?

Most likely not!! At the interview they Will ask about ur travels. I went back to canada for like a month after I submitted my N400. The interview asked if I had travled, i said yes, a month in Canada, and that was it! Was not a problem

Just bring your passport to prove the trip.

As long as it doesn't break the condition for N400 application, you will be fine.

I traveled internationally three times between sending in my N-400 and the interview date. The IO asked me if I had traveled, and noted the dates on my application. It was not a problem at all. I had 7 trips listed on my application, so, 10 trips in total. I was not asked for my passport to confirm dates, though, I know many others have.

As long as that week doesn't cause problems with your eligibility (exceeding no. of days outside USA), it will be fine.
