Last week I was told I would be off today (Sunday). I walk in yesterday and I am scheduled . So I told the manager you said I would be off on Sunday. He says yes but some things changed and he needed me to work........ ok

So he makes it a point to put a BIG X on next sunday............

Come back to him about 30 min later and tells me by the way ... just so you know we need to have a meeting...... ON THE SUNDAY HE JUST PUT THE BIG X ON....... W T H ? I was so mad and it takes alot to get me mad

I plan on going to see my husband at the end of February God willing so I appreciate the hours. But give me a break..... This is my part time job. and for the past month or so ive worked from

55 to 60 hr weeks just to stay caught up with my regular bills and the things life throws at me......

anyway .... Would you have been upset?

Wow, that really is annoying. I was supposed to have today off work but then they had me come in for four hours this morning. I was so annoyed but nothing I could do. I hope you get your vacation time off fine and enjoy it.

Of course i would be upset. If you don't miss meeting normally, just call in sick or say you had car trouble. BTW - my mom works and often has to attend meetings on her days off. She hates it too.
