Yeah, that's exactly what I figured!! When in reality, they're scones (only tasteless) and the "gravy" is...........well.............you don't wanna know what goes into it, but it sure as hell aint gravy!!!! And have you seen the state of the people that eat this sh!t.......

Generally speaking I prefer the food over there to over here, but when it comes to breakfast, I'm afraid our American cousins simply aren't at the races.

I served my in-laws a British breakfast and they looked really confused and wouldn't eat the beans, mushrooms, and tomatoes. My husband saw them looking and explained that it's a British thing. I guess I probably have the same look on my face when my MIL serves stuff that I wouldn't touch. They're from the south so they eat some really weird stuff.

Is something weird going on here? That post from the girl who couldn't make yorkshire pudding was a separate thread, and I replied with a link to this thread where we started on yorkies. Now that's all combined into the Sunday Roast thread. How did that happen? Magic?

I last had a proper english breakfast when my parents were here in November. We took them to New York and went to Dempseys bar. The breakfast was amazing although it did come with chips which I thought was a little unusual, but the rest was great.

Almost worth a trip to NY just for a breakfast....lol
