Both sides of birth certificate?

I'm filling out the I-129F and my fiance (The one submitting the forms) has a birth certificate that's blank on the one side. Should I state this or submit a blank page?

I just love this question. After you copy the front side of the BC, compare the back of the original to the back of the copy. If they don't match, then copy the back side of the BC.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

When I sent my file in, I just sent a copy of the front of my birth certificate and a copy of the ID page in my passport. HOWEVER, I may have just gotten lucky that it didn't cause problems. You should make copies of both the front AND the back of the birth certificate even though the back of it is blank. The point? They want the copy to be of the original certificate...the copy of the backside of the certificate SHOULD have a light shadow of the seal that gets imprinted in original/certified birth certificates...Otherwise, you're supposed to make copies of every single page of your passport, including the front and back cover. Hope that's helpful :/

Just found out, Louisiana Birth Certificates only have one side.

NY Birth Certificates only have one side too. I thought all states were that way...

10th October 2007 - NOA1 issued

31st January 2008 - NOA2 issued

22nd May 2008 - Interview date

18th July 2008 - US here I come

22nd August 2008 - Wedding date

15th September 2008 - AOS Pack (I485, I131, I765) Sent

22nd September 2008 - NOA1 x 3 Received

6th October 2008 - Transferred to CSC

17th October 2008 - Biometrics

5th December 2008 - EAD & AP approved

20th February 2008 - GC approved

I-751

================

1st December 2010 - I-751 Sent (CSC)

3rd December 2010 - I-751 Received

7th December 2010 - Cheque cashed

3rd January 2011 - Biometrics

Maine BC have a number on the back that matches a number on the front, the one on the front is inside the raised seal showing it is certified. I wondered about that too so I looked closely and I figured that is just one way to show the BC is valid.

My New York BC has certification on back and a bar code, maybe this is because it is a certified copy.

Mailed n-400 : 4-3-14

USCIS Received : 4-4-14
