I really need to order our wedding invitations...as time is getting on.......but with not having an interview date i am so worried that if i order them, we will not have the interview in time or maybe not even be approved and if i dont order them and then do get approved i wont have time to order them..i know that lots of people are in the same boat..what are peoples thoughts?

I think we would all like to be able to do this, but unless you have money to blow to change things up later then hold off, plenty of places will be able to make invitations on short notice, and as long as your family and friends know of your "timelines' to what we all have to do with a K1 and how unsure we all are. You can work around it....

Go ahead and order them if you can afford to possibly have to trash them later.

Invitations usually don't take more than 2 weeks to arrive (maybe 4 if they are backordered) so I don't see the big rush.

I would wait on the invitations too. It would be less expensive to have an order "expedited" than to have to order all new ones.

03/10/06-received EAD in post and passed driving test (Wow what a day)

07/26/06-AOS Interview---APPROVED!!!!!!

07/31/06-received 'Welcome to America' Letter

08/07/06-received Green card in post wooooooooohoooooooo

03/30/09-received approval to remove conditions!

I am going to order our invitations as soon as we find out when the interview is scheduled.

Our timeline is a couple weeks after yours, so I check your timeline often. It helps me estimate when we should be expecting things!

Yeah i think that is probably a good idea...I am hoping that we all got an interview date soon
