We ended up buying the thickest painter's plastic we could find (like you put down when painting) and double sided tape. I like it better cause it's much thicker. And, I don't own a hair dryer.

me either...everyone always thinks that so weird...its our curly hair

awesome! that sounds like my favorite one so far! what kind of double sided tape? i imagine heavy duty? does it leave a big sticky residue afterwards?

poodle if I blow dry. Never ever.

yes, heavy duty. And, alcohol if it sticks. I usually have good luck with it coming right off.

You can get really thick plastic if you like.

BTW: good morning people!

I was up till midnight reading the yardies waiting for interviews thread below

Almost makes a person want to give up... then I remember the love...

Marlita your posts touched my heart (L) is your husband here now?

I am so grateful for this site!

So many here who support who understand.

(((VJ)))

Girl, wha mi seh?! Mi nah even remember. haha!! yes he is here now....long time coming. Waited 3 months just for an NOA1, another 2 for the NOA2. Got a break and was one of the first to do online payments with NVC so that took little over a month....but after case complete at NVC, I waited another 5 whole months for the interview. Seems like a long time ago now. Was it worth it....sometimes I wonder....just cause it seems like they really could make this process a little easier and the process really does place a strain on your marriage even after the process is done. But he is here and finally settled in. Working, going to school and just living life.

Yes. the tape is pretty self explanatory. The plastic comes in big sheets. I just used whole sheets and folded it over to use a whole sheet on each window. What I liked about this was the plastic can be as thick as you want. Our house is old and needs lots of help so I bought the thickest I can find, which was still really inexpensive. I really think it has mad a difference this year.

It's much the same as the blow dryer method, which I did use in the past after borrowing someone's dryer. My problem with that one was I had to cut the sheets and when I tried to blow them, I got all tangled up in them. They work as well, though, if you are more coordinated then I am.

omg! u guys are scaring me with these heating bills....$700?!! I never knew it got that crazy.

That's like an entire year in my apartment. A half a year when I owned my house. I am either really stingy with the heat or very lucky.

I'm with you Marlita, I would die!
