we are in waiting for 4 months and even our case never was touched :( I hope next two months will be luckier for us.. It more hurts when you see that some cases get approval after your case.. But how USCIS writes in their site :" we review every case which were sent before yours and only after it we will be reviewing your case"

join the club. be happy you can visit. last time i saw my SO was Aug. 26th.

The wait is the worst I agree. I haven't seen my SO since October 2007. By the time I get there even all going well it will be 1 year and 4 months plus.

Be glad you can visit, and I hope it all speeds up for everyone still waiting.

I Am so glad I could visit. Knew there was a reason I saved up all my sick and personal time last year also was able to take a could of vacation days from this year in advance. Between that and not going anywhere for 6 months I was able to save up enough money for the ticket. I am glad I got to see my sweetie but coming back was torture. I am just so afraid that after waiting so long for them to get to my file I am going to get an RFE and then there is the possibility of being laid off from my job over the next couple of months. Just wish they would hurry up. Grrr

=)

when i first started our k1 visa in july Vermont was wayyyyyyyy faster.

It goes that way many times..sometimes VCS is faster one month then CSC is faster...all luck of the draw mate.

I know I know but I miss my fiancée. I just got back from seeing him and it has made the waiting worse. Two weeks was not enough time with him. Ohh well I hope the times improve soon there are so many August filers to go through yet.

Just waiting........... sigh

I just checked the Timeline Stats http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthl...=2&sortby=2

Something else to consider would be the approved petitions for each center and the total number of filers for each center. For example, August 2008 as of this posting VSC had 197 people apply, and they have already approved 90 of them , on the other hand CSC only had 87 people apply and they have approved 59 of those. So you see, if this is indicative of a national average, then VSC seems to have a bigger work load, but I am sure it is not. I would assume that the numbers for the 2 centers swap quite often.

Just psyching myself out here that VSC is faster, LOL

If you compare VSC to CSC...you will see that VSC has almost 3 times as many applications to work on than CSC. In October VSC has 87 and CSC has 37. This is according to what is recorded here on VJ.

This may be the reason for delay.

Blah!! :dead: I am just hoping for the best.

Ohh I know that VSC has more applications so I know the wait time will be longer than CSC that's not what is frustrating me. What really gets me is that CSC has processed more applications (50 or so) in the past week than VSC (20). Maybe VSC is just taking the whole month of January off and things will speed up in a couple of weeks. Trying to stay positive about this because from what I understand once we get the NOA2 things move much faster.

OR.........

VSC has actually processed 50 applications too but only 20 of them are recorded on VJ........

Just a word of advice from an old-timer -- a watched VJ timeline never moves..... and comparing one service centre to the other is only gonna drive you crazy!

Yea, just like granny used to say "a watched pot never boils" , that is why I try not to spend too much time here on VJ and I don't check the USCIS website very often either. They will email me when there is a change to the status of my account anyway. And yes, I am sure that VJ only represents a small percentage of applications

We are in the same boat. it has been 4 months and almost 2 weeks since we filed for the visa and still no news and our case never touched either .

i know it really hurts when you see CSC approving people who filed for the visa after us in Sept,Oct and even in Nov . i hope we will hear good news soon and we will be next

my best wishes for everyone here

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .
