Giving the muslims "back" their ancestral lands is the solution. However easier said than done. The other islands in RP don't have nearly as big of problem. More problems with NPA than MILF.

Giving them the entire island of Mindanao is not the solution. My wife thinks Muslims are good people but there are that few that cause all the problems and leary of them.

I pray for peace in Mindanao in place, where there are muslim rebels (MILF, Abbu Sayaff). They have so many victims now. The kidnapping and asking money for the release of their captured. killing people who can't afford to pay.

Dont worry about going to MIndanao especially in General Santos City. I been living all my life there and not that much problem at all... All my co-workers are Muslims people and also my classmate. They are all good people. Giving Mindanao to Muslims people is not the solution, only a small percentage of them living in MIndanao.

My husband (then my fiancee) were going back and forth without any problem. He is with us all the time, and not scared being a target for kidnapping. :innocent:

I live in Mindanao and my husband stay with me for 3 months but it is far from the place where messed up but still we didnt go around and i didnt let him go anywhere too cuz am looking for his safety even it is far...i know the US embassy always give warn to all americans not to visit in mindanao area...it is sad to know but for the safety of of our fiances/husband i agree specially going to iligan,cagayan.davao,zambaonga,zulu cuz this part have MILF nor rebels.Their are rebels which is good and bad person.And we dont know who they are...

Im so sad about the 3 missionaries was kidnapped...we need to pray for thier safety.

These monsters were holding whole villages hostiage south of Iligan a few months ago.

I lived in Manila since birth and never been to Mindanao,i've read lots of horrible stories from there,although i know some of them are true,i believe also that some are being exaggerated by other people especially the media.this saddens me because they scared the people who wants to go and visit the beautiful sceneries there.Problems in Mindanao doesnt mean that there are no more good people who are living there.

Problems and chaos are eveywhere even in the most progressive countries.

Muslims sure cause lot of problems

I like Mindanao area, and I spend most of my time there.

Davao is safest place in PI, the mayor makes sure of that.

He has a death squad in Davao, and he takes cares of Bull$hit in Davao.

I would be not go to General Santos.
