im starting to get pretty excited about moving to cebu... Im selling my furniture... making plans..

i guess im as excited as the fiances who come to the usa lol. Im going there to live with my fiance

and marry in the fall if all goes well. We will live in cebu or elsewhere in the philippines for awhile. No set

schedule.. Maybe three years i dont know. Maybe I will never come back. If you suggest to your fiance that

you might want to live there awhile, see her reaction... My first wife from manila pitched a fit, and the second

fiance, I sent back in a week on the plane, didnt pitch a fit, but whined about coming to america. This third one,

she just said Ok.. its up to you. Listen to your gut feeling. If you have a bad feeling, you better pay attention. It

could save you a lot of money and grief.. Im kinda shooting for May I guess.. I will sell my car right before I go.

good deal for somebody... talk about moving sale. I call her everyday now, geez cell bill.. The first thing I want

to do when I get there is teach her english everyday.. She speaks little english.

Im going to put the wedding live on the internet and also on recorded video.. I will send the link when that happens

My co-workers think im nuts, but they will get a kick out of the wedding on the internet. They can view it at work.

We want three kids, Man Im dreaming of Cebu..

Good luck  I loved Cebu a lot. I certainly would recommend you travel around before settling on one place. You can find a lot of Expats groups in Yahoo, I belong to three including a group in Cebu, one in CDO and one on general living in paradise (Philippines)

I didn't read anywhere in your plan on how you are going to support yourself in Cebu. www.livingincebuforums.com is a good site for info on Cebu.

 Good group of folks there

Yeah I was also thinking of moving to Cebu. Love it there! But how do you plan to support yourself?

I will have retirement soon and enough to live very, very well in the Philippines. We only plan to by there in the winter time then spend summers in Colorado or traveling throughout the country and use spring and fall to see other parts of the world. My first ambition is to go play St. Andrews :D
